Clearwater 2kg Multifunctional Tablets (CH0003A) Prior to using this product, adjust the PH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6 to promote bather comfort, plant protection and effective chemical use. Ideal for use with the Bestway Lay-Z-Spa chemical floater, these chlorine tablets are designed to slowly erode over a period of 3-5 days, depending on the water flowing over them. As they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be neccessary to shock dose or oxidise prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. Ideal chlorine levels are between 1-3mg/l (ppm) as tested by a test kit - try our Clearwater Dip Test Kit. Warning: These tablets (1 per 45,450 litres) need to be broken up in accordance to the litres to your pool. For example an 8' Bestway® Fast Set Pool has a capacity of 2,300 litres. Therefore for this pool you would need to break the tablet into approx 20 pieces, placing only 1 of the pieces to the directions on the container.

Clearwater 1 litre Antifoam (CH0007) Elimination of foam is important for proper sanitation. Clearwater foam remover has been formulated for use in spas & hot tubs to control and prevent foaming, and to quickly remove foam from your spa water - giving crystal clear water in your spa or hot tub. A common cause of foaming is the reaction of cosmetics and oils from bodies reacting with the natural alkalinity of the water. Periodic cleansing may be required. Clearwater Algaecide (CH0006) is an effective 1 litre liquid treatment which helps prevent and reduce a slimey build up on spa & pool filters. it is recommended that after intially shock dosing you use this product on a weekly basis in your Bestway Lay-Z-Spa water. It is also very important that you keep control of your pH and Chlorine levels for this treatment to be effective. Clearwater 1 litre Clarifier (CH0009) Use ClearWater clarifier when pool water is looking dull, due to excess use, contamination (e.g. dead algae) or neglect. The Clarifier is used to control and prevent excess cloudy water building up in your Lay-Z-Spa whilst you are using it. It is a quick and effective 1 litre treatment to keep by your Bestway Lay-Z-Spa as you never know when you might need to use it to keep your water looking fresh and clean. Lay-z-Spa Maintenance

Depending on usage and type of sanitizing system, a spa or hot tub with well-maintained water, which is treated with non-chlorine shock, should be drained and refilled every two to four months. This is necessary because of the amount of total dissolved solids becomes excessive, making it difficult to maintain sanitize effectiveness and water balance.

It is very important that you use a cleaner designed for spas and hot tubs. While household cleaners are great for cleaning jobs around the home, they can cause foaming and alter the pH of your water. Quality spa surface cleaners are safe for all materials, contain no abrasives, are non-toxic and will not cause water foaming.

Depending upon bather load, it is generally a good practice to rinse your filter cartridge every week with fresh water from a garden hose to dislodge hair and other foreign matter. It is recommended that you change your filter cartridge every 2 weeks if you are using your spa on a regular basis.
